Tyringham has somehow balanced people with open space, and golden fields are framed by rolling hills ablaze in autumn’s color. In fact, it was the rolling hills that inspired the strange roof of the Gingerbread House, which you can’t miss as you head to the center of Tyringham. The Gingerbread House is the nickname given to the Tyringham Art Galleries, where a diverse assortment of paintings and sculptures are exhibited.
