The manuscript H, housed in Glasgow University Library, was written in the early fifteenth century using a Texture script, specifically a combination of Semiquadrata and Rotunda. It contains 174 folios and the text is chiefly in English, although some Latin passages are also present. 2) is of a later date, probably the sixteenth century, but it does not offer information for the entire volume, only for Items 2 and 3 (see (1) below). We can only guess, therefore, at the intention of the scribe in annotating certain remedies and disease descriptions in the margins of the text.
